In 2000, the Journal of Organic Chemistry started accepting manuscript submissions for consideration via a secure Web site providing authors with a fast, efficient, and accurate new way to present their research to the Editor. The Journal of Organic Chemistry features full articles and notes, invited topical mini-reviews, as well as invited contributions from all the recipients of the annual national ACS awards in the field of organic chemistry. Selected, timely contributions receive expedited processing and publication.
