The collaterals of the Twelve Meridi- ans branch out from the regular meridians below the elbow and knee, go toward their interiorly-exteriorly related meridians. The collateral of the Conception Vessel comes out from Jiuwei(CV 15)and spreads over the abdomen. The Col- lateral of the Governor Vessel arises from Changqiang(GV 1)and spreads over the top of the head. It goes along the Bladder Meridians on the right and left sides. The Major Collateral of the Spleen Meridian begins from Dabao(SP 21) and spreads through the chest and hypochondriac region. Among the collaterals of the whole body, the Fifteen Collaterals are larger.
