主症

腹痛，里急后重，下痢赤白粘冻，肛门灼热，小便短赤，或有恶寒发热，心烦口渴，苔多黄腻，脉象滑数或濡数

Main Manifestations

Abdominal pain, tensemus and frequent passage with pus and blood in stool, burning sensation of the anus, scanty and yellow urine, chills, fever, restlessness, thirst, yellow, sticky tongue coating, rolling, rapid or soft, rapid pulse.

主症

下痢白腻粘冻,喜暖畏寒，腹中隐痛，胸脘痞闷，口淡不渴，舌苔白腻，脉沉迟。

White mucus in stools, preference for warmth and aversion to cold, lingering abdominal pain, fullness in the chest and epigastrium, tastelessness in the mouth, absence of thirst, sticky tongue coating, deep, slow pulse.

主症

痢下赤白，饮食不进，恶心呕吐，舌苔黄腻，脉濡数。

Main Manifestations

Frequent passage with blood and pus, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, yellow, stick tongue coating, soft, rapid pulse.

下痢时作时止，日久难愈，倦怠怯冷，嗜卧，食欲不振，舌淡苔腻，脉濡。

Desentery occurring on and off, difficult to cure, lassitude, Somnolence, anorexia, pale tongue, sticky tongue coating, soft pulse.

治法

取手阳明及大肠募穴、下合穴为主。以通肠导滞。湿热痢针刺用泻法；寒湿痢针灸并用；久痢针灸补泻兼施。

Treatment

The points of Large Intestine Meridian as well as the Front-Mu point and lower He-sea point of the Large Intestine are selected as the principal points to remove the stagnation from the intestines. 随证配穴

发热：大椎；
脱肛：灸百会，针长强。
湿热痢加曲池、合谷；
寒湿痢加中脘、阴陵泉，灸气海；
噤口痢：加中脘，内关；
休息痢：加脾俞、胃俞、关元、足三里

Additional Points

And Dazhui (GV14) for fewer ;
Add Baihui(GV20) with moxibustion Changqiang (GV1) with needling for prolapse of rectum.
Add Qichi (LI11) and Hegu (LI4) for damp-heat dysentery.
Add Zhongwan(CV12) and Yinlingquan(SP9), moxibustion to Qihai(CV6) for damp-cold dysentery.
Add Zhongwan(CV12) and Neiguan (PC6) for fasting dysentery.
Add Pishu(BL20), Weishu(BL21), Guanyuan(CV4) and Zusanli (ST36) for intermittent dysentery.
