主症

扭伤局部因瘀阻而肿胀疼痛，伤处肌肤出现红肿青紫。新伤局部有微肿，按压疼痛，表示伤势较轻；如红肿高大，关节屈伸不利，表示伤势重。陈伤一般肿胀不明显，常以风寒湿邪侵袭而反复发作。损伤部位发生于肩、肘、腕、腰、膝、髀、踝等处。

Main Manifestations

Swelling and pain with redness or ecchymosis in the injured area because of the obstruction. A new injury with slight swelling and tenderness indicates a mild condition while remarkable swelling and redness with motor impairment of joints signifies a serious case. An old injury has not marked swelling but has the repeated recurrence in case of the invasion by exogenous pathogenic wind, cold and dampness. 治法

以受伤局部取穴为主，毫针刺用泻法，陈伤留针加灸，或用温针。

Treatment

Points are mainly selected form the injured area. Reducing technique is applied. Moxibustion or warming-needling method is recommendable to the old injury.

Wrist: Yangchi (TE 4), Yangxi(LI 5) and Yanggu(SI 5)
Back: Shenshu (BL 23), Yaoyangguan(GV 3) and Weizhong (BL 40)
Hip: Huantiao (GB 30), Zhibian (BL 54) and Chengfu (BL 36),
Knee: Xiyan (EX-LE 5), Liangqiu (ST 34) and Xiyangguan( GB 33)
Ankle: Jiexi (ST 41), Kunlun (BL 60) and Qiuxu (GB 40)
