主治
1. 泌尿、生殖系疾病要穴，治尿频急而痛，尿潴留，尿失禁，遗尿等。以及阳痿，遗精，月经不调，痛经，子宫脱垂等。
2．治慢性腹痛腹泻。
3．肾虚气喘（老年慢性支气管炎等引起的气喘)。
4．虚脱（主要用灸法)。
5．有全身强壮作用，为保健要穴。

Indication

1. 直刺1-1.5寸。
2．针刺前应排空小便。
3. 孕妇禁针。
4．对尿潴留，膀胱高度胀满的患者，中极，关元均应斜刺，并宜注意深度，防止刺破膀胱。
